This place is also known by unusual richness of Croatian culture monuments. Caska is full of archeological items. The remains of antic architecture are being joined by antic city Cissa. From Caska there are known of total seven antic writing, veil from Novalja there are six of them. A special attraction is a big sacrificing altar (ara) from Caska which was built by Kalpurnia, a roman senator family, that had its state here. Epigraphic monuments are a part of "Stomorica" collection and can be seen in local museum. Written monuments confirm the life of people in this grounds from 1st to 4th century after Christ.
One of biggest attractions is Novalja underground aqueduct, built in 1st century after Christ, populary called "Italian buža". It is fully stoned by a human hand in length of 1042m.
All interested underground visitors have also a privileged to see remains of a roman merchandised ship that was transporting amphora's and was drown in bay Vlaška Mala. On island Pag there are also famous Pag cheese and local dance NAŠKI.
Few a must specialties are Pag cheese and lamb, sea fruit, mixed with very good local vine and schnapps.
